GMC Elevation Edition Promises Enhanced Functionality and Comfort

Christmas Gifts for Toyota RAV4 are Already Planned!

2016 Toyota RAV4 The well-known Toyota model, the RAV4 will have some more goodies geared in December. The Christmas gifts will include safety features, premium styling and even more precise driving dynamics. And more quiet ride. How cool is that?

The latest safety technologies will prevent or in the worst case will mitigate the force of a collision. The system now includes a special autonomous braking that will be standard on the high-grade Cruiser and optional for the mid-range GXL models. Furthermore, every RAV vehicle will get and trailer sway control which is crafted to assist if a towed car becomes unsettled by crosswinds, bumpy roads or some sharp turns.

2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport is Now Even More Beautiful

Land Rover has enhanced one more time the visual appeal of the premium compact SUV with the launch of Discovery Sport Dynamic at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. So, let’s see why it is so interesting.

The Discovery Sport Dynamic grants customers with numerous exterior changers, including the new Narvik Black wheel design in Satin Dark Grey and the 20-inch Gloss Black wheels. These two wheel designs really contribute to the overall striking visions of the vehicle, especially when combined with the interior colors and details.

But the visual changes are not the only one made on the latest Discovery Sport. The vehicle now is geared with All Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) which is a special advanced system that enables drivers to set and maintain a certain speed in off-road conditions. Created by Land Rover’s industry-leading specialists, ATPC functions almost as a cruise control system and is engaged between 2 km/h and 30 km/h. Furthermore, the system adapts vehicle’s performance according to the terrain and allows it to maintain perfect ride throughout the off-road terrain.

Capability and Flexibility

In order to help customers identify the most efficient derivative, Land Rover has also introduced the so-called “E-Capability” to the latest Discovery Sport. This means that the model delivers the optimal levels of CO2 and furthermore each model will include a special blue SPORT badge at the rear of the car. Discovery Sport offers a special diesel unit that grants customers with a total of 150 hp (110 kW) and produces 123g/km CO2.

And as you might know, the Discovery Sport is the vehicle with incredible launch. The sales reached almost 30,000 in the first half of 2015.

Volkswagen Tiguan GTE Concept Is Ready for the Road Challenges!

The first plug-in hybrid SUV by Volkswagen, the Tiguan GTE Concept was unveiled at the Frankfurt IAA. This vehicle comes with a total of 228 hp (160 kW) and goes to up to 50 km in the special “E-Mode” which offers complete all-electric zero-emission smooth drive. This relatively long driving range benefits from the especially designed lithium-ion battery and its energy capacity of 13.0 kWh. In optimal driving conditions this installment can cover even 1,000 km of driving range. But this all depends on the regional solar radiation power. And if you decide to use the combined way of driving, you should know that the vehicle consumes mere 1.9 liter per 100 km.

The latest VW concept vehicle benefits from a direct-injection turbocharged petrol unit along with the electric motor. This system is further paired to a 6-speed dual clutch gearbox, which was especially designed for this particular vehicle. The additional components include power electronics and charger. The Tiguan GTE can be also driven on Hybrid, Battery Charge and GTE modes. If mode is not selected by the driver, the vehicle automatically drives off in “E-Mode”. Furthermore, the Tiguan reaches a top speed of 130 km/h only with the electric motor.

And the system is precisely fine-tune to switch to Hybrid mode when the battery is exhausted or when there is high demand for power. This all means that the E-Mode is deactivated and the Concept now behaves like a classic full hybrid car.

The driver can press the GTE button to switch to GTE mode which activates the flexible side of the vehicle. This mode is now exclusive feature for all VW vehicles with plug-in hybrid drive system. With the mode engaged, the characteristics of the pedals, gearbox and steering system are noticeably changed to bring more dynamics and flexibility. In addition, the GTE mode, the TSI unit and the electric motor work together in a way, known as “boosting” which makes the full system power and maximum torque available. In this way the Concept has a top speed of 200 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 8.1 seconds.

2016 Camaro Models Come With Outstanding Performance

2016 Chevrolet Camaro 2016 Camaro comes with even lower overall weight and more power. The superior vehicle now weights with more than 177 kg lesser and the redesigned drivetrain system offers outstanding performance.

Chevrolet’s team tests now show that the 455 hp (336 kW) Camaro SS Coupe engine, working in perfect harmony with the all-new eight-speed paddle-shift automatic gearbox, manages to get the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) for only 4.0 seconds and covers the quarter-mile challenge in 12.3 seconds.

Furthermore, the Gen Six Camaro Coupe offers 275 hp (205 kW), provided via 2.0-liter Turbo unit that completes the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in 5.4 seconds. And goes through the quarter-mile run for 14.0-seconds. Yep, this one is also impressive.

And along with the 18-inch wheels and Goodyear Eagle Sport all-season tires, the 2.0-liter Turbo grants drivers with 0.85g in cornering grip and 100-0 km/h (62 mph) in 129 feet. Furthermore, the RS pack that includes 20-inch wheels and Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric all-season run-flat tires, the 3.6-liter V6 unit comes with 0.89 g and 62-0 mph braking in 124 feet.

In fact, much of Camaro’s performance can be attributed to design team’s focus on reducing vehicle’s weight and improving stiffness. And now it looks like the invested 9-million hours of computational time are enough to make a difference in vehicle’s overall performance. The computer-aided engineering led to a modular architecture program for each model. This all means that the base curb weight for the 2016 Camaro is 167 kg lighter than its predecessor. And the 1SS models is 101 lighter, but at the same time offers more horsepower and 14% improvement in the power-to-weight-ratio

Jaguar Land Rover SPECTRE Vehicles Were Unveiled at 2015 FIAA

Jaguar Land Rover SPECTRE Jaguar Land Rover celebrated their vehicle appearances in the latest Bond movie, SPECTRE. The movie will tell one more story of the world’s most popular agent and will also demonstrate some incredible vehicles. For example the Jaguar C-X75, Range Rover Sports SVR and the well-known Land Rover Defender. In fact, these vehicles stole the show after they were unveiled at the palatial Thurn und Taxis in Frankfurt.

As you might know, SPECTRE is the 24th James Bond movie and it will see the Jaguar C-X75 drive through moonlit streets of Rome in high-speed chase. It is believed that this is one of the most advanced Jaguar vehicle up to date and it is provided by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) in collaborations with development partner Williams Advancer Engineering headquarters in Oxfordshire, England.

SVO was created back in 2014 and focuses its entire activity on meeting and increasing expectations of today’s requirements for high-end vehicles. Working on the development of high performance vehicles the bespoke models are run in collector editions and now SVO represents two iconic automobile brands: Jaguar and Land Rover.

The especially modified Land Rover Defender is by far the fastest and most powerful Land Rover up to date. The Defenders, seen in the movie are constructed by the JLR Special Operations division with large 37-inch off-road tires and enhanced body protections to tackle the challenging road conditions.

And now fans all around the world will have the chance to see the exclusive behind the scenes SPECTRE content on Jaguar and Land Rover’s social channels and websites. The Latest Focus RS Comes With Incredible Performance

2016 Ford Focus RS 2016 Focus RS comes with optimized acceleration and overall enhanced performance. Now Ford team launched a special control technology and the RS model is the first to give it a try. The RS also debuts a special Ford Performance All-Wheel-Drive and Dynamic Torque Vectoring. This all helps for incredible traction, grip and dynamics at high speeds and corners.

The Focus RS now is also geared with enhanced chassis and drivetrain system to deliver the fasters possible acceleration. Also new is the gearbox system. It is designed in such a way that it delivers optimum performance and the best so far flexibility. In fact, the AWD system uses twin electronically controlled clutch pack to manage the vehicle’s front/rear torque split and can even control the side-to-side torque distribution on the rear axle. This installment has a dramatic impact on the handling and cornering stability. Furthermore, the AWD monitors inputs from multiple vehicle sensors just to deliver optimum driving dynamics.

2016 Focus RS also offers a total of four different driving models that configure in a precise way the AWD, dampers, electronic stability control, steering and engine response. The settings are indeed normal, sport and track with a special drift mode to help the driver achieve controlled oversteer drift on the track.

And when it comes to performance, the Focus RS’s 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost is especially upgraded to deliver 10% more power than its predecessors. Furthermore, it also offers and low-inertia twin-scroll turbocharger with larger compressor and a large-bore high-performance exhaust.

Finally, the vehicle will be created in Saarlouis, Germany and it is expected to go in markets in spring 2016.

Toyota C-HR Concept Sets The Future for Toyota

2015 Toyota C-HR Concept Toyota C-HR Concept is a stylish and compact hybrid crossover that would be the core of soon-to-be-produced mass-market version. Now the five-door model is on display at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The C-HR Concept was created to demonstrate new directions for the compact crossover segment in an increasingly homogenous marketplace and made its first appearance at the 2014 Paris Motor Show as a design study.

This vehicle is definitely distinctive with its looks, thanks to the diamond-inspired lines and the eye-catching details have been especially created and placed to represent the facetted surfaces of a precision-cut gemstone. The car is based on two main elements of Toyota’s design ideas: Keen Look and Under Priority. This means that the team went for bold and emphatic front profile, embracing the lower grille along with adding some better aerodynamic features, cooling and of course, safety measures.

And now the updated concept depicts the idea for a step forward to popularization with changes as going from three-door to a five-door formant. In addition, the roof color idea is also changed from a two-tone pattern to a sort of uniform with glossy black scheme.

Toyota C-HR Concept uses the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) which is an intergrated development program for vehicle platforms and drivetrain components. TNGA will enable Toyota to create vehicles with further enhanced chassis rigidity, handling stability and of course, comfort. In fact, Toyota also aims for creating an engine with thermal efficiency of over 40% and improving the whole engine system with hybrid components.

Design

Drivetrain system

The vehicle is geared with naturally aspirated, long-stroke 5.2-liter V10 unit with full engaging potential with the top down. The engine offers the same technical qualities as the Huracan Coupe model, especially with the top down. The extremely responsive engine with revs up to 8,700 rpm it develops a total of 610 hp (449 kW) at 8,250 rpm and 560 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. And this unit is paired to a “Lamborghini Doppia Frizione” 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox ensures fast and smooth shifts.

This all helps the Huracan to go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds and from 200 km/h (124 mph) in 10.2 seconds to chase the top speed of 324 km/h (124 kW). And the new stop start technology and cylinder on demand the fuel consumption is lowered to 12.3 liters per 100 km and the CO2 emissions are reduced with 14% compared to the Gallardo Spyder.

And this stunning power is controlled by standard-fit brake system provides the vehicle with reliable and powerful deceleration. The front discs are 380mm in diameter and the brake calipers can be painted in numerous colors.

But the control and handling of the new Spyder is also enhanced by the special ANIMA switch (Advanced Network Intelligence MAnagement) which allows different driving models to be selected from sporty and dynamic to extreme performance. The modes are indeed “Strada”, “Sport” and “Corsa”. All of these three impact the engine, transmission, AWD system and the ESC handling system to ensure characteristics that completely fit the driver’s requirements.

Interior

The cabin welcomes you to an interesting and innovative place. The 12.3-inch TFT display can be configurated in several modes and offers the driver key information, including and virtual map. Numerous more features and gadgets can be directly controlled via the buttons on the steering wheel. In fact, even the electric seats are geared with an ECU that ensures all movements are made without engine wall contact.

And the slender dashboard and center console not only help the driver to control the hi-tech gadgets, but also contribute to the elegance of the interior. Mazda KOERU Concept Was Unveiled Today at the 2015 FIAA!

2016 Audi S4 Avant Debuts Today at 2015 FIAA! [VIDEO]

2016 Audi S4 Avant Audi will present the latest S4 and S4 Avant models at the 2015 FIAA in Frankfurt. The models are constructed to deliver flexibility, light weight and of course, tons of gadgets. So, let’s see what is going on in the Audi camp and let’s find out what could we expect at this year’s FIAA.

Drivetrain System

The latest Audi models come with an especially created V6 unit with petrol direct injection and turbocharge system. It is a 3.0 TFSI engine which provides a total of 354 hp (260 kW) and 500 Nm of torque and it is paired to a new eight-speed tiptronic transmission. This system outstrips its predecessor in every aspect and now it is even built with light-weight materials.

This system allows the S4 to go from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 4.7 seconds and from this start it can chase the top speed, electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).

And along with the drivetrain and the gearbox, the S4 and S4 Avant models also offer and impressive straight-line stability via the redesigned suspension. The five-link system on the front and rear axle separates the longitudinal and transverse forces, ensuring maximum handling and flexibility in every road situation.

Design

The latest S4 models has a lot to demonstrate, when it comes to design and style. At the front, the Singleframe grille and the nicely done horizontal lines enhance the feel of massiveness and width. Furthermore, the bumpers and the air inlets are completely reshaped and many of the additional parts are now painted in graduated matt gray and chrome colors.
