SPEED-BUSTER team improves a record-holding VW Golf monster!

2016 SPEED-BUSTER Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport S Limited Edition As you might know, back in April this year, Golf GTI Clubsport S Limited Edition has set a new record for the front-wheel drive vehicle at the legendary Nordshleife circuit with a lap time of 7:49:21, leaving back worthy opponents as Renault, Seat and Honda. Impressive.

However, there are some who believe that the hot hatch can do even more. Indeed, SPEED-BUSTER team decided to see how the vehicle can be improved. As you have suggested, the upgrades are mainly done onto the drivetrain system, but there are also some changes that the cabin benefits from. So, let’s take a look, shall we?

The stock settings of the GTI Clubsport feature 265hp (195kW) and 350Nm of torque as a total output. This appeared to be just enough for breaking a record or two, but it was not enough for SPEED-BUSTER team. What they did is to enhance the overall output to a total of 326hp (240kW) and 415Nm of torque.

Just some of the upgrades include easy-to-install Plug-and-Play vehicle-specific wiring harness with OE connectors, SPEED-BUSTER-exclusive chiptuning that alters the data from engine sensors in order to ensure optimal efficiency and last, but certainly not least, there is a remapped information for the ECU.

But let’s get back to the efficiency improvement. These guys made it possible to drive the upgraded hatch with consumption as low as 1.0-l/100km. Incredible! Also, SPEED-BUSTER promises a two-year engine warranty. Sweet!

2017 Jeep Compass SUV: confident and yet uninteresting

2017 Jeep Compass SUV In order to celebrate the start of production at the new Jeep Assembly Plant in Goiana, Pernambuco, brand team introduces fresh and sexy Jeep Compass model in Brazil.

What we know so far is that this one will be a symbol of personalization and versatility: the model could be geared with a total of 17 fuel-efficient engines and that much different drivetrain system and gadgets. Incredible.

What is also known so far, is that the Compass will expand brand’s available combinations of systems: the new Compass is expected to offer a class leading 4×4 off-road performance and versatility, both combined with some super-enhanced fuel consumption efficiency.

The good news is that we can already see the design and appearance! And we like it! The new Compass is massive, confident and its stance suggests that it is ready to tackle down all on-road and off-road challenges. But we also have to admit that we have already seen such “tanky” design with the Range Rover lineup. But despite the obvious similarities, we will give chance to the new guy. It might well deserve it.

The new Jeep Compass SUV will be available for purchase in the first quarter of 2017 for North America and in 2017’s second half for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Although this is what we know so far, we do expect more detailed information and pictures pretty soon, so stick with us!

BMW M2 by LIGHTWEIGHT: a rather magnificent upgrade project!

2016 LIGHTWEIGHT BMW M2 LIGHTWEIGHT in Mettenaar is a tuning brand that has commited itself to the slogan „Innovations are generated from passion, rather than satisfaction“. The team has showed its passion towards vehicles many times and now decides to strike again. This time with a BMW vehicle. So, let’s see what exactly makes this brand so special and why this vehicle deserves attention.

The team chose a BMW M2 for this project. And we will start with the final result: 444hp (331kW) and 690lb-ft of torque. We got your attention, didn’t we?

But let’s start with the exterior styling first. There is a new and exclusive front spoiler blade, a LW-rear wing and LW-outside mirrors all created from lightweight carbon-fiber. Also, there are some high-strenght vinyls on the air intaker and massive 10×19 wheels with 265/30 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires at the front and rear axle that enhance the overall aggressive stance of the vehicle.

Furthermore, the LW-titanium tailpipes with valve throttle control system and a 300-cell-turbo-downpipe, along with sweet GT-brake system by Brembo with 380mm discs for the front and rear wheels. Sweet.

In terms of interior styling, we can sum up all with a short sentence: simple and aggressive. Defintely appealing, the concept is straightforward: remove the unneeded and enhance the needed. The cabin is clean, functional and entirely driver-oriented. There are carbon performance seats in Alcantara fabric, LW-velour floor mats, LW-aluminum pedal set, a special display system and many carbon-fiber components.

Mercedes GLE Coupe touched by CHROMETEC? Yes, please!

CHROMETEC is a team of professionals that got their workplace in Kleinrinderfeld, Lower Franonia and specializes in tuning Mercedes-Benz automobiles. Team’s latest project includes a Mercedes GLE Coupe crossover and we have to admit that the result is incredible!

Let’s start with the performance rates, shall we?

The additional drivetrain goodies and improvements result on a total of 296hp (221kW) of power output and massive 700lb-ft o torque. This system also benefits from TÜV part certification. Further improvements include a module for quicker throttle response and a pedalbox that harmonizes with the smooth automatic gearbox.

Additional equipment

The complete set of goodies includes CHROMETEC active sound system and a roaring V8 sound for both the gasoline and diesel units. Sounds nice, right?

In fact, this project caught our eye with its incredible focus entirely onto the engine system. There are no exclusive and additional exterior and interior fads, no unnecessary pieces of technology and in general, nothing that would spoil the fine pleasure of driving a high-quality vehicle with high-quality drivetrain system.

In fact, when you think about it, there is not much to be added: after all, we are talking about a Mercedes-Benz vehicle tha comes with all a driver and passenger would need: style, convenince, comfort, and smoothness of driving.

Audi TT S-Line Limited Edition: there’s more than fancy lights

2016 Audi TT S-Line Limited Edition Let’s talk about the new TT S line vehicles. As always, Audi team tries its best to deliver even better specs, performance rates and overall joy of driving. The additions include slight exterior styling tweaks, some more convenience additions for the interior and of course, improvements onto the drivetrain system. So, let’s see what is going on here!

Exterior design

Staying true to its styling language, Audi brings one more impressive addition to the lineup. This time the visual character of the vehicle is enhanced by a neat singleframe blade at the front, new exterior mirror housings and new diffuser in glossy black finish. Furthermore, the fixed rear wing also contributes to this beautiful and aggressive styling.

Also, the exclusive fine-tuned suspension not only brings some additional agility, but also lowers the overall ride height: we definitely like it. And to finish this suite of beauty and passion, engineers and stylists added new limited-edition 19-inch wheels in glossy black five-spoke design. Neat.

Interior styling

Here’s where things get interesting. There are numerous additions. Starting with new S sport seats with highly contoured side supports and adjustable lumbar, going through flat-bottomed S line contoured sporty steering wheel in three-spoke design and finishing with this vast thing, called Audi Virtual Cockpit. In fact, this infotainment system is offered with two large screens, exclusively for the limited edition.

What impressed us with this cabin was the incredible mix between sporty appearance and elegance. All this, topped with many personalization options. For example, seats and door armrests can be specified in combination of leather and Alcantara on in fine Nappa leather. Sweet. Some of the components, however, remain as Audi specified them: the inlays are in matt brushed aluminum, the air vents, clip around at the central console and the seat are in gray chrome finish. Nice.

Drivetrain system

There is not that much to be told about performance rates. They are simply massive. The TT S line comes with a 2.0-liter that produces a total of 230hp (171kW). It is paired to a six-speed manual or an optional S tronic automatic. Both of these gearbox systems deliver torque to the front wheels.

Audi is offering the special model TT S line competition outfitted with the 230 hp 2.0 TFSI engine. It is available as a front-wheel-drive version with six-speed manual transmission or S tronic, and as a quattro with S tronic. Prices for the TT Coupé S line competition start at EUR 41,940. The roadster version of the special model costs EUR 44,340 upwards.

Mighty and passionate, Dodge Hellcat by GeigerCars is ready for some road challenges!

Definitely one of brand’s best flagship models, Dodge’s SRT Hellcat is one of our favorite vehicles. And it seems as it has also caught the eye of the magicians at GeigerCars! They took a closer look and have made a tweak here and there in order to deliver us one mighty and simply stunning machine!

The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is especially created for those who seek even more and are ready to go further to find it. Coming with stunning visuals and massive power, the vehicle is definitely worth the checkout!

The upgrades feature a massive power output upgrade that goes from the stock 707hp via a supercharged V8 unit to the incredible 782hp (583kW). The drivetrain improvements also include stainless steel sports exhaust with valve control, free-flow air cleaner and ECU software remap. Along with the horsepower, the engineering team enhanced and the torque, which already produces 923Nm. Massive, right?

All these improvements result on one specific stat: speed. The car is capable of going from 0 to 100km/h in mere 3.6 seconds and chases a top speed of 330km/h (183mph).

In terms of styling and appearance, the exclusive Hellcat receives more aggressive and aerodynamic front-end styling, new C-shaped LED daytimes running lights and this GeigerCars distinctive character. We like it. Furthermore, there are glossy black Geiger 22-inch alloys and 265/30ZR22 and 295/25ZR22 tires. All this is softened by an exclusive suspension system that comes with special damping adjustment: the dampers react separately for rebound and compression in low-speed range and high-speed range, which results in more steady, yet agile ride.

And let’s not forget the exclusive Special HellCat Green paintwork that contributes to the aggressive and sporty character of the whole appearance.

Chevy unveils a new Equinox SUV machine. And it is definitely worth the check!

2018 Chevrolet Equinox Chevy has revealed the fresh 2018 Equinox, a modern-day SUV with tons of special features and tons of additions. Definitely it is a fine-looking vehicle and definitely we do expect nothing, but the best, when it comes to a Chevrolet automobile. So, let’s see what does this bad boy bring to the table.

Exterior styling

Definitely expressive. And muscular. We see a super-confident body language with neat lines and elegant curves that together enhance the massive body parts. We also see some known shapes and forms that were taken from the Volt, Malibu and Cruze models. After all, a vehicle should resemble style with its brothers, right?

In fact, the styling concept of the Equinox is closest to the Malibu. There are similar Projector-beam headlamps, LED daytime running lamps as a standard, horizontal taillamps that emphasize the muscular rear-end and bring the styling even closer to the Malibu.

Of course, we do like the exterior styling of this one. For me personally the features are the masculine body, aggressive stance and clean, yet super-expressive lines and curves.

Interior styling

2018 Chevrolet Equinox

Following the exterior concept, the interior is also elegant and expressive: the instrument panel is down-and-away, the low windshield offers outward view, while the denim-dominating coloring enhances the ambience of comfort and luxury. Also, there are some pure functional additions: a new “kneeling” rear seat and bottom cushions that tilt forward when the split-folding seatbacks are lowered for easier loading the flat floor. Sweet.

Technology features

Along with the stylish interior, there are numerous technologies that make the vehicle even more appealing from the inside. For example, buyers will be dealing with a 7-inch and 8-inch MyLink infotainment systems that also support Apple CarPlay and Adroid Auto systems. Basically, these give anything a modern driven and passenger would want in a vehicle: information about car’s condition, navigation and some purely entertainment-based features. Sweet.

Safety equipment

2018 Equinox is geared with numerous technologies that look after the health of driver and passengers. The most notable addition is the so-called Teen Driver system that allows parents to set controls and review in-vehicle data in order to create safer driver habits for their young drivers. What is good about this system is that it works even when parents are not in the vehicle.

Furthermore, there are numerous more active and passive systems. For example, Chevy team geared new safety alert seat, new surround vision system, new forward collision alert with following distance indicator, low-speed forward automatic braking systems, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, rear seat reminder and many more.

Also, there is a switchable AWD system that enhances both efficiency and vehicle’s overall capability and versatility. Sweet, right?

Bentley Bentayga 2017: ugly, but still expensive!

2016 Bentley Bentayga Diesel Bentley Motors has just revealed full details for the latest Bentayga Diesel model. Simply beautiful and luxurious, this vehicle has a lot to demonstrate. So, let’s waste no more time and dive into car’s features!

Exterior styling

We see a rather familiar style language: expressive front-end with a well-known face shape, clean lines and curves, none excessive additions that shape the character of the sides and rear-end. In fact, the rear showcases a rather simplistic, yet elegant shape. One more time, there is nothing unneeded and unwanted. Not bad.

What we do not like, though, are the SUV-based body proportions. It looks sporty and aggressive, but we tend to link the Bentley name with stylish, massive and elegant vehicles. However, a bit of experimenting is never a bad thing. The distinctive character is enhanced by black matrix grille, neat 20-inch wheels that can be further changed with even more beautiful 21-inch Mulliner Driving Specification set.

Long story short: it is not an ugly vehicle, but we definitely have seen far more stylish design solutions.

Interior styling

2016 Bentley Bentayga Diesel

Aah, much better. Now we are talking about Bentley styling. Expressing luxury, precision and comfort, the cockpit is entirely dominated by hand-selected veneers, all handcrafted and hand-built. The Bentayga is available with exclusive Mulliner Hamper set that brings refrigerator, Linley china cutlery, crockery and crystal glass and storage area for dry goodies. Sweet, right?

Furthermore, the ambience of luxury and exclusivity is further enhanced by the numerous wooden components, overall smooth details and components and for some reason for this contrast white stitching that, personally for me, brings some sort of unexplainable feeling of comfort.

Drivetrain system

Bentley team has already revealed the full specification of the lineup! Buyers will be dealing with a rather powerful machine. Something more: Bentley team has the ambition to deliver us the fastest and most agile SUV produced to this date. Brave. Let’s see whether they succeeded in the daunting challenge.

Under the hood buyers and enthusiasts will find a triple-charged 4.0-liter, 32 valve V8 machine. Scary, isn’t it? This bad boy delivers a total of 429hp (320kW) and the titanic 900Nm of torque. Or, in other words, the Bentayga Diesel is capable of reaching a top speed of 270km/h (168mph) and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in mere 4.8 seconds. Not bad. Not bad at all!

There is also a special exhaust system that was created exclusively for this mode, a Selective Catalytic Reduction system that reduces the nitrous oxides, Bentley’s stop-start system, Electric Power-Assisted Steering is also present, just as Electronica Stability Control, Traction Control and Hill Descent Control. Sweet.

The Bentayga is geared with numerous known and unknown systems and tweaks that enhance the feeling of comfort and luxury. For example, there is this special infotainment system that also enhances the safety rates and convenience of the vehicle. It adds Driving Dynamics Modes, Responsive Off-Road Setting and more.

Furthermore, the Adaptive Cruise Control includes Stop&Go function, Predictive ACC and Traffic Assist functions are also present, along with Traffic Sign Recognition, Rear Crossing Traffic Warning, Top View and Park Assist systems.

Inspired by the motorsport and rally thrills, the sweetie offers new turbocharged power unit, latest generation of drivetrain system improvements and these sweet visuals. So, let’s check it out!

As it comes to exterior and looks, this is a 100% MINI vehicle. All signature features are present: the expressive font eyes, the stupid-looking face, well-proportioned body and tight stance. All this is topped with neat chrome black body finish and red components: there are neat sporty stripes that go through the front-end and sides. There is also a sweet red line that crosses horizontally the grille and a red top that enhances the presence of passion and aggressiveness. Sweet.

Interior styling

Completely resembling the exterior styling concept, the interior is dominated by black components and red additions: there are sporty seats, covered in Alcantara, futuristic central console and neat ambient lightning. In fact, this lightning is not that needed, but hey, who cares?! It is a mini with shiny interior, right?

What catches the eye are the many small rally-inspired details. For example, look at the speedmeter: there is this famous black and white flag appearing if the driver decides to push the vehicle to its limits and reach speeds above 200km/h. This same flag concept can be seen on some places on the body and some more places in the cabin. And it is freaking cool!

Now we are talking! The heart of the beast is a 2.0-liter MINI TwinPower Turbo system that can produce a total of 228hp (170kW) and 258lb-ft of torque through the special ALL4 all-wheel-drive system. In fact, the engine is enhanced by BMW Group technology and architecture. Cool, right?

Furthermore, there is a special exhaust system, fine-tuned to enhance the sporty performance, fine-tuned suspension system and neat Brembo brakes with red-painted calipers that completely resemble the exterior color scheme.

GSC showcases a rather futuristic concept for the BMW i8 model

2016 German Special Customs BMW i8 BMW i8 Plug-in Hybrid was first revealed at the IAA back in 2013 and many people were disappointed, despite the wonderful design. Why? Because The whole design was left almost untouched to what was first revealed four years earlier. And here’s the tricky part: many were indeed disappointed, but there were these, who saw incredible opportunity.

“These” are indeed the tuning magicians from German Special Customs from Chemnitz. What they did is just incredible: not only the vehicle looks super-futuristic, but also it demonstrates numerous advanced drivetrain technologies. So, let’s see what exactly has been changed.

Breathtaking. This word is just enough to describe the body shape of this monster. It looks futuristic, aggressive, sporty and challenge-ready. Covered in charcoal-black finish with numerous carbon-fiber components, the i8 also showcases neat blue details: wheels, side lines, kidney-grille surrounds and accents at the massive back-end.

The wheel arches are filled with 8.0×22 and 9.0×22-inch two-piece COR International rims, while the sporty springs lower the overall vehicle height and contribute to more menacing stance and of course, to better handling.

Fully resembling the exterior styling concept, the interior is also charcoal black-dominated. And let’s not forget about the same blue interior additions and components. They cover the sporty seats, slightly enhance the sporty steering wheel style and give that futuristic, yet stylish spark to the central console.

Definitely a bold step forward, GSC team decided to focus all of its energy entirely towards the visuals of the vehicle. And they did something incredible, don’t you think?

Ford reveals the new KA+: it is appealing, agile and fresh. Check it out!

2016 Ford Ka+ Zetec The latest Ford KA+ model will try to be the most spacious KA model so far and will also make its best to deliver even better fuel efficiency rates all this topped with some sweet visuals. But let’s start from the beginning, shall we?

Exterior design

Inspired by Ford’s neat design solutions, the sweetheart is well-proportioned and showcases neat high-mounted trapezoidal grille, large headlamps, overall tight body shape and this agility and ride-ready stance. Also, especially for the European buyers, Ford team added a two-piece rear fascia with black components that further enhance the agile character of the vehicle.

Space. This is the keyword. Or, at least, Ford team wants it to be. The new KA+ offers generous space for five people and just enough luggage space. The vehicle is a bit shorter, combined to the predecessor model, but it compromises with 29mm additional height. Furthermore, many of the components in the cabin, seats, door panels and roof headliner in this number, have been optimized to deliver additional headroom and legroom. Sweet.

In terms of styling, the interior comes with sweet grained finish on the instrument panel and hard-wearing, modern-day trim materials and overall dark charcoal color theme. There are also some chrome components and accents that further contribute to this modern and sweet design.

Drivetrain system

The latest KA+ lineup is geared with agile, yet simple petrol engines. There are a total of two options: a 70hp (52kW) and 85hp (63kW) units, both sharing a 1.2-liter tank. They are based on the well-known 1.25-liter Fiesta system and offer twin-independent variable camshaft timing technology and also have some improved fuel efficiency capabilities.

In order to deliver optimal pleasure of driving, Ford team has geared numerous technologies and components. For example, there are exclusively developed springs and dampers, rear torsion beam axle, brake pads and tires and redesigned front sub-frame.

Trim levels and upgrades

As we have already discussed, the KA+ comes in two variants: a 70hp and a 85hp one. The second one is called Zetec and offers some more goodies, compared to the stock model. These include exterior and interior improvements as special chrome front grille, front fog lamps, power front windows, electric door mirrors, perimeter alarm with remote central locking Speed Limited and Ford Easy Fuel system.

The advanced trim level also brings distinctive 15-inch alloys, manual air-conditioning system, Ford’s SYNC voice-control communications and AppLink entertainment system, cruise control function, heated front seats, rear privacy glass and spare wheel kit. Sweet.
