Honda CR-V SUV: astonishing even after two decades!

2017 Honda CR-V SUV New year resolutions haven’t been unknown even for the biggest names in business! And as it seems, Honda team has taken these promises rather seriously. The first announcement by the manufacturer is that there will be a neat upgrade for the CR-V. Something more, the new 2017 model will be officially unveiled on Sun., February 5^th during Super Bowl LI.

As you might know, this is the third time a CR-V vehicle is featured in the big event and there is a fine reason for that: this sweetheart is sort of astonishing one. Since its first appearance back in 1997 that marked the launch of the lineup until this year, the CR-V has stood as one of Honda’s symbols of quality and precision.

The latest model that is already on sale showcases some neat exterior styling, more interior details, new generation of turbocharged power units and of course, tons of utility and safety features and technologies. The new guy also incorporates the latest Honda Sensing suite of technologies that not only make the ride with the SUV far more pleasurable, but also contribute to the overall safe run. And let’s not forget that this year’s model is also an anniversary one! In other words, we do expect some sort of gifts and exclusive features and all this kind of stuff that would warm our hearts. And would raise our adrenaline level!

M&D Exclusive Cardesign reveals its latest creation: a mighty Audi RS7 unit. Check it out!

2016 M&D Exclusive Cardesign Studio Audi RS7 The Audi RS7 has impressed both fans and critics of the brand. It is both elegant and super sporty and at the same time brings tons of special additions to the whole lineup. However, there are people that are still not satisfied with all the features. Some of them are team members of M&D Exclusive Cardesign studio from Germany.

These gentlemen indeed brought to life a sort of the beast that lied within the stock RS7 machine. One of the main additions include a PD700R Widebody Kit that is exclusively created by the styling partner Prior Design. This thing adds more aggressive front bumper with larger air intakers and spoiler lips, while the rear bumper is somehow tighter and more muscular and showcases large diffuser.

The wider wheel arches are filled with neat 10.5×21-inch Rennen Forged R60 X-Concave alloys, wrapped by 265/30ZR21 Continental tires. Finished in stylish matt black cover, these wheels are both eye-catching and functional. And we do do like them!

The interior completely resembles the exterior design language. And despite the multifunctional dashboard, the cabin looks cozy, comfortable and most importantly, functional.

And finally, let’s talk about the most interesting part of the whole vehicle: the drivetrain system. The stock 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 produces a total of 420hp and 550Nm of power output. We are sure that there will be people that do wonder why there aren’t some additional horses and torque values? Well, there are! M&D engineers have done some super nice turbocharger upgrades and have added neat exhaust upgrades that together contribute to generating additional 280hp and the titanic 400Nm of torque for a total output of 700hp and 950Nm for some dramatic road and track action and tons of adrenaline. Sweet!

G-POWER reveals a super-sexy Mercedes-AMG tweaked machine! Check it out!

2016 G-POWER Mercedes-AMG GTS Tuning magicians at G-POWER have gained knowledge and experience for more than 35 years and now they feel ready to add some kick to the already super-hot AMG GT machine. We all know that there are some incredibly powerful vehicles. And we also know that there are some incredibly ambitious people that push the boundaries even further. And here it is: the latest G-POWER creation!

Basically, the vehicle features all the neat stuff that are capable of making it a soft of a king of the racetrack. These include massive 610hp (448kW) and 755Nm output, 21-inch exclusive HURRICANE RR forged alloys, external power module Bi-Tronik and more. Sounds good, does not it?

But let’s get more into details, shall we? One of the most notable features in this project is the G-POWER Bi-Tronik 5 power module. Its purpose is to raise the overall power output of the vehicle and in the same way to deliver some more agility in corners. Furthermore, this Bi-Tronik 5 module connects to the stock engine and modifies the data in the icroprocessor all for the sake of better driver control and confidence. Cool.

Other notable features include G-POWER’s exclusive double-spoke HURRICANE RR ultra-light forged wheels. These bad boys are not only super sexy in sight, but also contribute to the overall high stability and acceleration rates.

Toyota showcases brand’s latest ambitions and plans for 2017 season year

2017 Toyota Yaris Hybrid Actually, Toyota team has taken the upcoming 2017 season rather seriously. And this is why it does not stop revealing new models that will soon hit the market and the roads. One such model is the fresh new C-HR crossover, strictly followed up by GT86, Auris Verso and Aygo. In fact, Toyota team hasn’t forgotten even the Avensis lineup. Nice.

So, what should we expect from the famous manufacturer? As it comes to the Yaris lineup, Toyota showcases a new body color, indeed the Tokyo Red, and some neat styling changes. These include new black finish for the roof, front pillars, upper front wing sections and door mirrors. Not bad, but we kind of expected more. Hopefully, all these styling changes are the pre-heater before the main action.

What we also know so far is that the 2017 model of the Touring Sports saloon will be available in many new colors, neat 18-inch alloys as part of the standard equipment and overall more aggressive expression. Hopefully the last thing would apply for the drivetrain system.

Fresh and confident towards 2017: two Toyota sweeties hit the road!

New Year celebrations have begun and Toyota team decided to spice up the party. The reason? Well, it is pretty obvious that the new model year is about ten days ahead, but let’s put one more reason just in case: Toyota fans and enthusiasts might well be pleased by what the brand reveals as new offerings. To tell you the truth, we are interested too! So, let’s check out what is going on here!

To be precise, there are two fresh models that will keep the Christmas spirits warm. To be more precise, we are talking about the new Aygo models. These fresh x-press and x-style have a lot to demonstrate and we are eager to show it to you!

Toyota decided to mark the arrival of the sweetheart with a distinctive red color. Definitely distinctive, this body finish accents the slightly restyled bumper, rear diffuser and side sills. However, this is not the only available body finish. The vehicle can be specified with Silver Splash, White Flash, Electro Gray and Bold Black body colors. Other neat stylish changes include glossy black 15-inch alloys, rear privacy glass, body color-finished door handles and door mirrors.

In terms of interior changes, the vehicle offers neat instrument panel that resembles the body color of the vehicle, black surrounds with black air vents and gearshifts and a black central console. Black is always stylish, isn’t it? Furthermore, there is new automatic air conditioning system and sweet three-spoke steering wheel. Sweet.

Definitely an eye-candy, this one showcases sleeker and more detailed body styling. There are neat grey-finished front X, front pillar extensions and rear diffuser. Cool. Buyers will be granted with 15-inch alloy wheels in glossy black that showcase perfect color harmony with the available Electro Grey, Deep Blue Buzz and Silver Splash finishes. The cabin benefits from the same additions and changes as the x-press brother does: there are matching body-color instrument panel, black trim detailings, revised air-conditioning system, x-touch and dusk-sensing headlights and more.

Additional features and drivetrain system

Both vehicles include reverse camera, front fog lamps, Bluetooth connectivity, heated door mirrors with power adjustment, DAB tuner, leather steering wheel cover, electric front window, Hill Start Assist Control, LED daytime running lights and more.

Also, if there are still people who are not completely satisfied with the base model features, Toyota team offers some optional goodies: there is this advanced Pre-Collision System, Autonomous Emergency Braking and Lane Departure Alert. Sweet.

In terms of drivetrain system both vehicles share Toyota’s agile, yet not that flexible 69hp 1.0-liter VVT-I petrol power unit that can be paired to either a five-speed manual or x-shift automatic gearbox, all depending of buyer’s preferences. Sweet.

BMW team aims at the electric vehicle market. Here’s the first shot!

2018 BMW 530e iPerformance 5 Series Becoming more and more popular, electric vehicles set unseen challenges towards automobile manufacturers. At this moment we witness the total domination of some brands and total failure of others. But the truth is simple: bringing electric power into the drivetrain system has changed the way we look at vehicles. And as it seems, it has changed the way automobile giants look at the world. And at the same time we end up with sort of similarity, despite the vast amount of new models, technologies and super-cool-next-gen-mind-blowing features.

In such circumstances BMW Group decides to keep the lead, or at least try to do so with the unveiling of their own EV. Indeed, we are talking about the new 530e iPerformance machine. This is a sporty sedan that was recently officially revealed to the publish and features many not bad at all additions and changes. Of course, the goal of the well-known brand is to remain as popular as possible and at the same time to beat all rivals in the segment and keep its exclusive distinctive character. So, has it succeeded in the ever-evolving world of automobiles? Let’s find out!

Drivetrain system

Definitely, this is the part that is most interesting to many of the automobile fans and that’s why we will start with it. The new electric BMW 5 Series features an agile electric motor that generates a total output of 95hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. At the same time the 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo power unit delivers additional 180hp and 215 lb-ft of torque that is more than enough to dominate the streets and in some ways the racetracks.

What is catches the eye is the high-voltage battery pack of lithium-ion cells that is placed underneath the rear seat. This pack includes some advanced cooling systems and thanks to the advanced tests and experiments, the whole thing can be recharged for about 7 hours. Not bad, isn’t it?

As it comes to performance and road behavior, BMW enthusiasts and buyers should not remain unsatisfied with the “new guy”. As always, the EV would try its best to keep the high positions of BMW and the legendary status the brand has crafted in terms of road character. There are these SPORT, COMFORT and ECO PRO selectable driving modes, AUTO eDRIVE system and BATTERY CONTROL feature that ensure exploiting the full potential of the eco 5 Series machine.

But the question remains: what in the name of electricity is iPerformance? The vehicle is geared with numerous technologies, components and styling achievements that altogether mark the official decision of BMW to participate in the field of electric vehicle technologies. This is it. Not impressive at all, isn’t it?

iPerformance characteristics

Not being impressive does not definitely mean unoriginal or even ugly. The vehicle looks as a 100% BMW unit. It has kept all the aggressiveness, beauty and muscular stance that are all a sort of trademark of the Bavarian automobile manufacturer. However, there are some slight changes that, as said above, mark the new age of automobile industry.

The rest is a well-known story: straightforward, mean and beautiful. And guess what? We like it!

2018 will meet the new BMW 5 Series with tons of utility and safety features that would ensure both comfortable ride and safe journey. Just some of the technologies that drivers will be dealing with are new iDrive Controller, iDrive Touch Screen, revised and improved Blind Spot Detection system, Active Lane Keeping Assistant & Traffic Jam Assistant. Of course, drivers won’t get away without the Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go and the Active Line Departure systems.

A lucky BMW M2 vehicle receives neat upgrades! Details here!

2016 Dahler Design BMW M2 Dähler Design, along with Technik GmbH in Belp have created a sort of ultra-exclusive project. Both teams have worked for collaborative project and now we can finally see the result: a super sexy BMW M2 Convertible machine that showcases not only technological innovation, but also team’s dedication and passion for creating ever-evolving gadgets and technologies.

So, let’s check out what this bad boy has to demonstrate to the world, shall we? First of all, the engineering team has pumped up the overall power output to a total of 425hp (317kW) and 465Nm of torque with neat overboost feature that, when engaged, generates additional 35Nm of torque. Sweet. Further improvements include fine-tuned coil-over suspension system, high-performance brake units, stainless steel exhaust systems and of course, neat styling tweaks.

However, there are some specific aspects that require further attention: the vehicle can be specified with two trim levels, each of which delivers some outstanding performance rates. Level 1, for example, come with six-cylinder M TwinPower Turbo unit. Level 2 comes with the same engine system, but is way more powerful. Furthermore, both trim levels offer numerous goodies that would please any buyer: there are many stainless steel rear silencer, exhaust system and more.

2016 Vilner Tesla Model X P90D Sadly, Art Studio Vilner showcases its last project for 2016. Although 2017 is about two weeks ahead, we have hoped for some more surprises. However, this one is quite interesting and it is worth reviewing. As all other Vilner products, in fact. So, let’s check out the birthday present by the magicians from Bulgaria, shall we?

Electricity is the code word

We all know that Tesla team is making some devastating damage to petrol and hybrid rivals. It is also a leader in electric vehicle segment and there is no doubt in the quality of the vehicles and systems that are branded with the Tesla logo. However, our friends from Vilner decided to take a closer look at a certain vehicle and tweak it a bit. And spice up the overall sexiness.

The design team has chosen the hot and fresh-new Model X P90D. Or more precisely, the owner of the vehicle is also an owner of two more Tesla vehicles. In other words, he knows how luxury and sexiness should look and feel like. Impressed and determined, the design team has done what should be done: a masterpiece.

Impressive even as a stock model, the Model X P90D has undergone some super slight, yet notable and elegant changes: Vilner has also remained the carbon package, but adds some spice with the front lip, mirrors and the rear spoiler that further enhance the overall aggressive expression with neat coloring finish. The brake calipers have also deserved some special attention and now shine through the massive 20-inch wheels in colors that fully resemble the interior ambience. The wheels themselves are re-finished in Dark Plutonium Silver.

WIMMER reveals its latest project: a rather special Porsche machine. Check it out!

2016 WIMMER Porsche 991 Turbo S Cabrio All Porsche fans and enthusiasts know the story: back in 1963 the iconic 911 was revealed to the public. And since this glorious moment the whole lineup become a sort of iconic for the brand. And by delivering us the Turbo and Turbo S models, Porsche has strengthened its lead positions for a quite long time. However, there are still people and brands that are still not entirely satisfied. One such team is WIMMER.

What the team did is to take one shiny and super sexy Porsche 911 that is now called 991 Turbo S Convertible and reshaped it in a way that would fit even the most demanding of buyers and fans. So, let’s see what the engineers have recently unveiled, shall we?

What is special about this tuning project is that WIMMER team hasn’t changed that much the appearance of the vehicle, but had rather tweaked the drivetrain system.

In fact, the whole engine electronics system was revised and had undergone some comprehensive upgrade program. The team has also geared two WIMMER turbo chargers and sporty camshafts, along with implemented intercooler. Further upgrades include fine tunes for the fuel pump, intake manifold and the throttle valve.

Sounds good, right? But this is not all! Additional improvements include placement of high-pressure pump, BMC high flow air filter and WIMMER-RS stainless steel exhaust.

About the final results and performance rates you are asking? Let’s be clear about it: this vehicle delivers some massive power output and offers outstanding road behavior. There are a total of 560hp (417kW) and 860Nm of torque, or in other words, this bad boy finishes the 0-100km/h sprint in mere 2,6 seconds, 0-200km/h in 8,4 and the 0-300km/h in 17,9 seconds. Incredible, isn’t it?

Oh, yeah. We also like the orange finish and the black body visuals. They do contribute to that sporty and super-aggressive appearance of the vehicle.

Mazda and Toyota: what do these rivals have in common?

Here we have a long-awaited battle in the making. Both super cars from both Toyota & Mazda are expected to be made available for 2018 year, and we wanted to give readers the opportunity to understand how the two will match up initially.

Let us dive into the Toyota Supra. Toyota had announced that they plan to work side by side with BMW when designing and creating this super car, so that right there speaks volume in terms of their dedication to making this vehicle not just high performing but efficient.

On the other end the RX-9 is going to have a brand new rotary engine specifically designed for the vehicle, and the wait on that engines techs & specs is going to really dictate the volume of this comparison in the future.

The Supra has already made it clear that it will be equipped with a 3.0-liter Twin-Turbo V6 that will push 400 horsepower. Meanwhile Mazda has done a remarkable job of keeping their power and performance under wraps. One would suggest either because they have yet to decide on the product, or they might be holding back on something special.

Lexus team gains more and more confidence. What more should we expect?

So, When Can We Expect the Hydrogen Lexus?

Now that right there is a question that many in the automotive industry and automotive journalism industry has been discussing and wondering for quite some time. When will we get to look at this groundbreaking technology that Lexus has been working on for some time? Will it be worth the wait? How will it be designed, and most of all how will the consumer base accept or decline it?

Let us answer a couple of these questions for you quickly. Let us start off with the Why? Why would they create this vehicle? Reason it simple, the whole automotive industry is making this shift towards fuel efficiency and corporate responsibility to combat climate change and carbon emissions.

Another reason for this choice to create a Hydrogen technology based vehicle, is simply to give them a one up on a very competitive segment, which is the luxury sedan models. BMW right now is the only other major automakers in the luxury segment that has made any progressive changes for environmentally friendly vehicle design. Even so they have just made new models, instead of trying to adapt one of their more popular models.

Next question; how will it work exactly? Well no one really knows the exact science of the vehicle yet, because that hasn’t been released for obvious reasons. All we do know is that the LS model will have some autonomous features, an electric powered motor driving the rear wheel and then sending that power equally to the front, to give the vehicle balance and stability in terms of distribution of power.

Much like the LF-FC concept they showed in Tokyo in 2015, there will be two modes likely; cruise mode for which it will allow the driver to recharge their battery as it continues to drive, then an acceleration mode that will use more power but provide greater acceleration and speed. A great sense of give and take with its technology that is quite revealing of the future of this industry.

Last question, when will it be available. Right now, all that is known, is that it will be showcased sometime in 2017, then likely be available sometime in 2019. They will likely provide a standard drive system with the same design changes they showoff in 2017 for which they will be selling in early 2018 at local Lexus dealers like Len Stoler, just won’t include the hydrogen power technology quite yet.

So, we must wait and see what happens in the coming year. But the exciting aspect of all this, is that we will start to see more technological breakthroughs in the automotive industry in 2017 and 2018. Specifically, the autonomous vehicles.
